We've won Best Cloud Solution at the 2026 Umbraco Awards

Zeroseven has been named winner of Best Cloud Solution at the global Umbraco Awards, recognised for a scalable, multi-site cloud platform built on Umbraco Cloud.

On 10 June, on stage at Codegarden in Denmark, Zeroseven was named winner of Best Cloud Solution at the 2026 Umbraco Awards. The awards celebrate the best work built with Umbraco, the open-source CMS used on hundreds of thousands of sites worldwide. The cloud category recognises the projects that get the most out of Umbraco Cloud.

The Umbraco Awards are run annually by Umbraco HQ and recognise the best work built on the platform across categories including cloud, commerce, and community. They are judged by the Umbraco core team and announced at Codegarden, Umbraco's annual conference held in Denmark. The Best Cloud Solution category specifically recognises projects that demonstrate exceptional use of Umbraco Cloud infrastructure at scale.

We won for our work with Icon Group, one of the world's largest private cancer care providers, building a scalable multi-site platform on Umbraco Cloud that allows their network to launch new regional websites quickly from a single shared foundation.

This entry completely won over the judges by utilizing Umbraco Cloud to its absolute fullest potential, particularly through its masterclass use of Baselines to instantly spin up new regional websites. It stood out as a premier example of enterprise-level cloud transformation, delivering high-impact, beautifully designed digital experiences backed by a robust architecture built for rapid global deployment.

What the win means to us

As the project manager on the build, winning a global award is an incredible outcome, and what I'm most proud of is what it reflects about Zeroseven. The goal of the project was making sure that when Icon Group needed to launch a new regional website, it felt like a routine task rather than a fresh project. Getting that right took a lot of careful architecture decisions early on, and this recognition from Umbraco is further validation of a job well done.

This also happens to be our second win at the Umbraco Awards. In 2021 we became the first Australian agency to take one out, for our work with not-for-profit GIVIT. Both of these projects couldn't be more different, but the thing we were trying to solve was the same: building something that the client can actually grow without coming back to us every time.

Recognition from Umbraco HQ means a lot to us. As Australia's largest Umbraco Gold Partner, an Umbraco Contributing Partner, and with our Principal Consultant and Founder Chris recognised as an Umbraco MVP this year, we're about as embedded in the Umbraco community as an Australian agency can be. Winning on the global stage reflects that.

I presented Zeroseven with an interesting challenge: to build a platform that allows us to efficiently manage and scale the ongoing development requirements of our growing network of 15+ websites all on a single multisite CMS. It has been an ambitious project with many technical challenges in managing content and various stakeholder needs, along with enterprise grade demands regarding cyber security, privacy protection and governance. Zeroseven have been a great partner in working together to build a great solution that ticks all of the boxes.
