Environmental benchmarking and certification program

EarthCheck is an award winning international tourism and environmental advisory group with many sustainability solutions.

The Brief

The purpose of this project was to enhance consumer experience by having a strong focus on usability. A big part of the project was the redevelopment of the front end of the website to make it easier for consumers to view information on benchmarking and certifications, research and innovation, consulting services and digital technology. This involved careful user journey planning based on the specified features EarthCheck wanted to highlight. Some basic objectives of the new website included:

  • Create a user-friendly experience for users
  • Responsive design to view on mobile and tablets
  • Enhance usability to make it easy to navigate the site's content
  • Ensure the website is collaborative to meet the needs of all EarthCheck's stakeholders

The Solution

Following an extensive analysis of EarthCheck's online requirements, the need for a rebuild and redesign of the existing website become more apparent. The site caters for a range of users, which means information needs to be easily accessible. This was achieved by adding a search functionality whereby users can input exactly what they are looking for.

Zeroseven worked with EarthCheck to produce an easy to use content managed website with the aim of allowing the user to browse through the many products and services available. The design of the new website draws from their already established brand, enhancing their eclectic and unique research findings.

The site also features up-to-date news, extensive articles as well as integration with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
