The Brief

Deaf Services Queensland is the leading provider of support services and information to the Deaf and hard of hearing community in Queensland. Through support and donations, Deaf Services Queensland is able to realise the vision of Deaf people empowered, connected and achieving.

As part of their ongoing digital journey, Deaf Services provided four major business objectives for Zeroseven to accomplish:

  • Redesign of DSQ’s online architecture and overall aesthetic in the digital space
  • Promote and streamline the donations process to generate revenue
  • Select 3rd party tools to facilitate class management/events or develop a simple registration process
  • Implement a new user friendly CMS, either Kentico or Umbraco

The Solution

Zeroseven worked closely with Deaf Services Queensland to create a visually stunning and accessible web solution to meet their brief. The website features large/bold visual imagery that contrasts with their primary brand colours. The visual layout is designed to ensure the website is accessible and helps the user find what they are looking for quickly and easily.

As a not for profit organisation, Deaf Services Queensland relies on the generosity of the community to continue to innovate and provide new and exciting services and programs to the community.The new website design helps promote and streamline the donations process, giving users the ability to donate and pay online through a secure payment gateway.
