Benchmarking for the aged care industry

Bentleys provide the most successful benchmarking survey for the aged care industry in Australia.

The Brief

The survey and reporting website was recently given a complete makeover with an improved look and feel as well as a better user experience and new functionality.

The Solution

Initially Zeroseven analysed the existing process and designed an application to automate the system, paying special attention to usability for the facility staff performing data entry, extensibility to cater for future versions of the system and the technology to create the complex reports.

One of the key results is an increase in facility participation in the benchmarking survey as well as having the automated system provide a dramatic reduction in time required by Bentleys staff processing of surveys and associated reporting.

The automated process has also allowed exploration into further automated report types, providing a additional ways for aged care facilities to benchmark their operations.
