ACT First

Preparing for severe weather in the ACT

The ACT First website was developed to help ACT residents understand the history of severe weather in their region and become prepared for future extreme weather events.

The Brief

Zeroseven worked with Green Cross Australia and weather experts for the ACT to present weather and natural disaster historical data and create and engaging, interactive journey to empower communities in the region to become aware and prepare for severe weather events.

The Solution

The website is an interactive journey, starting with an exploration of natural disaster history and resulting in an in-depth customised plan based on the residents' personal dwelling and circumstances.

To become better prepared, the website features interactive quizzes, in-depth advice based on the region, dwelling and family members.

  • Interactive journey
  • Interactive graphs from climate data
