AIHW Website Launch

BRISBANE, Queensland, 26.09.2017 — Zeroseven in partnership with Kentico Software (http://www.kentico.com), the Web Content and Customer Experience Management provider, are celebrating the recent launch of a refreshed and user-centered website for the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.

Zeroseven is a digital development house in the heart of Brisbane with a strong team of Strategists, Information Architects, User Interface and Application Developers, Digital Designers and User Experience Specialists who make the web work for their clients. Zeroseven chooses Kentico as the platform for their clients’ websites for its user-friendliness and advanced functionality.

The AIHW improve the delivery of health and welfare for Australians by providing high-quality reports and other information products, on key health and welfare issues in Australia. AIHW work towards providing stronger evidence (data and information) for better decisions and improved health and welfare. The AIHW needed a user-centered website refresh to allow them to display their extensive collection of reports and statistics.

Zeroseven worked with the AIHW team, starting with an extensive consultation process, which consisted of workshops, brainstorms, and requirements gathering from various business units within the organisation. User experience was improved, starting with the navigation which was carefully researched and reconfigured to allow users to easily find the statistical content that they are looking for. Custom search functionality allows searching within site content, PDFs and well as different data types and has many filter options to give customised results. Report pages have advanced options for content display, catering to the different types of data that AIHW provide.

Internal users within AIHW can now edit and make additions to the new website with ease using the Kentico CMS. To make things easier, a custom content workflow caters for internal processes of approval and publishing via various internal business units. The site also allows editors to input content with standardised icons, images, and colours for a cohesive brand presence.

"Our goal was to develop a new website with a fresh design, clear navigation, and emphasis on user experience. Thanks to the robust infrastructure of the Kentico platform, we managed to achieve this goal, and match AIHW's vision” - Brendan O'Keeffe, Senior Project Coordinator.
