The Winner's Circle: Racing Queensland and Kentico

By Chris 5-10 minute read

This weekend marked the start of our much-awaited trip to the Kentico Connection 2015 in Melbourne. One exciting part of the agenda was the fact that our very own business development manager, Elizabeth Gibbons was joining Petr Palas- CEO at Kentico Software, as a speaker this year.

Elizabeth was part of the marketing track of the conference, which was intended to show how integrated marketing can deliver customer experience. Never shy to speak her mind, Elizabeth grabbed the audience’s attention with her enthusiasm, extensive experience and unique perspective on this topic. Her presentation was suitably named “the winners circle”, covering the process she went through with one of our major project’s we completed with Racing Queensland, a Queensland State Government Statutory Board for thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing.

She discussed how Kentico brought the energy to the Racing Queensland project, playfully warning us that she was going to be honest and inform us about her personal experience. It was no wonder she was well received, winning over the crowd and gaining some attention on twitter. I have to thank her for her honesty, and I suppose for directing any technical questions to myself, without any prior warning!

Elizabeth’s presentation was informative and captured the essence of why Kentico is our choice when we know it will deliver for our clients. We are both eager to see what the rest of the connection has in store for us, especially hearing about new functionality and features in Kentico version 9!
