Looking Forward to Kentico Connection 2015

We are only a week away from Kentico Connection 2015, and I cannot wait!
Here are my top picks from the agenda and what I'm looking forward to most:

1. Kentico 9

In case you've been living under a rock, the big announcement at this year's Connection is version 9. I am assuming that Ceo Petr Palas, in his opening keynote will highlight the new functionality and talk about product enhancement. According to the kentico roadmap, there will be MVC model improvements for developers, enhanced campaign management for on-line marketers and better email marketing tools. I am personally really excited about the promise of a streamlined marketing UI to make sending emails faster and more efficient for online marketers.

2. Andy Thompson

Every year, Andy brings something new to the table as Kentico MVP. This year’ presentation regarding optimizing Kentico's performance for developers, will be no exception. Not only does he provide useful insights, but Andy does it in a light-hearted and entertaining manner.

3. Catching up and feedback

Over the course of the year, we regularly chat  with Kentico's team from around the world. Once a year at the connection, we get the chance to meet them in the flesh, especially the solution architects who provide email support. It is always nice to meet the people who help us day in and day out get the best for our Kentico solutions.
Kentico also does a great job of getting their senior management to mingle with our clients and us. They emphasize the importance of client/partner feedback and make themselves readily available.

4. Social Event

There ain't no party like a Kentico party - enough said.

5. Melbourne Docklands

Not only is the conference two days of insights and thought leadership, but we also get to learn in a fabulous environment. The central pier offers breathtaking views of Victoria Harbor and surrounded by water on three sides. Kentico is rolling out the red carpet for Kentico Partners and their clients and we can all expect to have a great time. It's not too late to register, and hopefully I'll see you there.
