St John Queensland Site Launch

Zeroseven launched the new St John Queensland website on Monday 4th May. The Brisbane-based digital development house worked with St John to restructure and redesign their old website to add branding consistency, improve the content structure and integrate volunteer and donation management into the finished product.

"There are a number of behind-the-scenes website functionality that allows St John to independently manage their large database while keeping their website up-to-date and functioning seamlessly. This is something St John were unable to do with the old website," Zeroseven Project Co-ordinator Bronya White said.

The site was integrated with the Kentico CMS, which is a fully-featured, content management system that sanctions St John to achieve many key business objectives. Kentico allows St John to quickly deliver their key messages on a number of digital channels.

As part of the overall digital strategy, Zeroseven worked with St John to create a member portal to disseminate information within the organisation easily and have a central point for internal documents and other resources.

The website contains an up-to-date news section, course enrolment information and an integrated shopping experience for users. The shop functionality is where consumers can view and purchase first aid kits and other related products. With Kentico, St John was able to customise fully the checkout to their exact needs. This enabled multiple payment options which integrates perfectly with St John's payment gateways, CRMs and shipping providers.

For the best user experience, responsive design was built into the website's functionality to enhance user journeys'. By adjusting the content that is displayed on each device, the user is getting a better experience which means St John is now truly embracing the capabilities of the web.

Our Application Development Manager, Paul Gibson added, "The St John website has been a revolution for the industry, revamping what was an outdated look and feel to a sophisticated, dynamic solution. With the flexibility to control the layout and structure, St John can truly create vibrant and engaging content to tailor health services to their users".

The St John website has refreshed the organisations online image while aiding the public in finding relevant information in a well-thought-out structure. St John has enhanced their presence by redeveloping and optimising the website to attract new volunteers, donations and promote their key messages.
