Zeroseven completes B2B

On Sunday 7th of September, the Zeroseven team took part in Brisbane's biggest fun run, the Sunday Mail-Suncorp Bank Bridge to Brisbane.

It was a cold and chilly Sunday morning when the Zeroseven team crawled out of bed at crazy o'clock to make their way to Murarrie, Brisbane, to begin the 10km run - or jog, and a walk now and then.

The course took the team over the Sir Leo Hielscher Bridge (formerly known as the Gateway Bridge) to run along Kingsford Smith Drive and continue through the Inner City Bypass (ICB), and then exit onto Mayne Street into Hamilton Place to finally cross the finishing line at the Brisbane RNA Showgrounds.

At 6.10am, with goose bumps and slightly cold fingers, the team set off with 30,000 other entrants over the Storey Bridge. It didn't take long to warm-up as the sun shone, and the temperature rose. Once over the Bridge, the Zeroseven team was well underway and set a smooth pace towards the finish line at Bowen Hills.

The results

Of the 483 teams registered for the Bridge to Bridge 10km run, Zeroseven was placed 111th.
All eight team members safely crossed the finish line in spectacular fashion; with most beating their personal best time.
