Overview
A joint venture between The University of Queensland and Griffith University, the Parents Under Pressure (PuP) program is an intervention specifically designed for use with multi-problem, high-risk families. The aim of the PuP program is to help parents facing adversity develop positive and secure relationships with their children in order to reduce problem child behaviours (where they exist), and promote a settled, nurturing and safe family environment.
The website is aimed at psychologists and care associations inside the industry to provide information about the service to those professionals helping families get through difficult problems.
Solution
Zeroseven designed and built a website that looks great,
is easy to navigate and can be fully managed using a content
management system (CMS) by the Parents Under pressure staff.
In the process of designing the website, the Parents Under
Pressure program adopted the new design elements as branding for
the overall project. A key feature of the design is the treatment
of the header images. The black and white style, highlighting the
child and blurring the background portrays the vulnerability of the
children in some difficult family environments.
Results
The new website is promoting the Parents Under Pressure program within the industry, helping the program become the primary approach to helping families and children in difficult situations.
