Overview

MFS hosted a ‘Million and One Hole in One’ golf event held at Sydney’s Cockle Bay in Darling Harbour. This website was to complement a TV and print campaign to promote the high profile event.

The main purpose of the website was not only to promote the event but also to gather registrations online.

Zeroseven worked in conjunction with H2N advertising to ensure that all aspects of the advertising campaign worked seamlessly across all media genres.

Solution

To promote this high profile event, Zeroseven created a flash website which introduced the concept of the competition to the viewer with a 3D animation of a golf ball falling into the hole – after all that is what the event was all about!

The site featured and easy to use registration form gathering entrants names for the big event as well as other features such as the ability to tell your friends about the site, a golf game created especially for the event, venue and prize information as well as more information about the MFS Golf Income Fund.

Results

The site was a very effective tool for gathering entrants’ details quickly and easily and as the details were collected electronically, there was additional work for the organizers in terms of manually inputting entrants’ details into a database.

Also, the site complemented existing advertising to create a cohesive look and feel for the whole campaign.
