Overview

Green Cross Australia is the Australian arm of an international organisation whose mission is to foster a global values shift towards a peaceful, environmentally sustainable and secure future. This is an organisation with international status and needs to keep the public informed of their projects through a robust and user-friendly website.

Solution

Zeroseven was commissioned to re-design the Green Cross Australia website and integrate it into Umbraco, a content management system which allows the easy updating of all site content including projects, latest news, events, staff profiles as well as integrated videos.

To fully showcase the projects that Green Cross are involved in, we created an animated projects panel on the homepage which captures the users attention with large imagery and animated project summaries.

As part of this project, there was also extensive integration with a specialised charity enterprise management system, to allow for one off and recurring donations, volunteer signup and marketing requests to be accepted through the website.

Green Cross Australia also sends out regular e-newsletters to subscribers and their content management system allows for the easy creation of these templates.

Results

The completed website is easily updateable by Green Cross staff through the Umbraco Content Management System. All the information is easy to find for the end user and projects are presented in a way that looks eye-catching and professional.

The new Green Cross e-newsletters not only look great, they are easy to send out and are environmentally friendly!
