Overview

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is the most awarded convention centre in Australia, providing world class conference and exhibition services to an international audience.

While in the process of rebranding the centre, Zeroseven created a website in partnership with Clemenger Harvie Edge to project the centre’s modern image with new features for event organisers and attendees.

Solution

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre website not only provides event information for event attendees, it also encompasses a range of tools which event organizer can use whilst choosing a venue for their event.

One of these tools is a unique feature whereby organisers can browse room and service information and add this to an Event Plan which creates a nicely packaged document for them with all their information in one place.

Another useful site feature of the site is the interactive event map, where visitors can view 3D floorplans, find out room capacities and view images of events held in those rooms.

All the information and imagery can be easily controlled and updatable by BCEC staff through the use of the Umbraco content management system (CMS) and this allows for future scalability as the centre adds more features to the site in the future.

Results

The site is easy to use and offers extensive information in an easy to find way. The site has become a very useful tool for event organizer as well as attendees and showcases this award winning centre in the high quality way it deserves.
