Q-COMP is an independent authority overseeing the workers'
compensation scheme in Queensland. Q-COMP works with scheme
partners such as insurers, government and other stakeholders to
balance the needs of workers and employers to ensure a fair and
efficient scheme for all.
THE BRIEF
Having a range of stakeholders, all communication (including
digital) needs to appeal to a range of user groups and, therefore,
has to have a high emphasis on usability and clarity of the
information.
Following an extensive analysis of Q-COMP's online requirements, a
new website was created for the organisation, integrated with a CMS
system that is simple to use by key staff.
THE SOLUTION
The site caters for a range of users, from Workers to Medical
Professionals and so information for each user needed to be easy to
find - this was achieved via an 'I am a …' function whereby the
most relevant information was at the user's fingertips, including
FAQs, Tools and general Information for each user group. This
functionality was positioned in the site header ensuring it is easy
to find at all times.
The site features extensive professional articles, publications
databases as well as integration with Twitter and Facebook.
Another feature is the CEO Blog, which contains workers
compensation news, hot topics and new initiatives in the industry.
Q-COMPs CEO will be adding to the blog over time, which will build
up an informative collection of articles and commentary on the
industry.
THE FEATURES
- CMS updateable homepage panel
- Newsletter management and creation
- Social Media Integration - Twitter & Facebook
- Integration to YouTube videos
