How often do you like to meet people for coffee or lunch? Some people you would enjoy catching up with everyday, others weekly, others monthly and some you try to avoid all together. What makes the difference?

I often get asked about the recommended frequency of sending out email newsletters or blog posts. Should they be sent Quarterly? Monthly? Weekly? Daily?

There's a lot of factors to consider when answering that question but it's a similar question to how often you want to catch up for coffee. The key factor is the value of the content.

If you are passing on dull information that the recipients don't really care about then the frequency should be never. On the other hand, if your articles or advice are extremely valuable to your list (remember they decide this, not you) then they are happy to hear from you frequently.
